IntAct is hosted by the European Bioinformatics institute, a part of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory.
IntAct is a member of The International Molecular Exchange (IMEx) Consortium – a group of major public interaction data providers intending to share curation effort and exchange completed records on molecular interaction data, similar to successful global collaborations for protein and DNA sequences and for macromolecular structures. The current partner databases are DIP, IntAct, MINT, UniProt, Molecular Connections, MatrixDB, InnateDB, IID, UCL-BHF, MBInfo and HPIDB, and the consortium is open to the participation of additional partners.

IntAct is funded by EMBL Core funding and by grants from the Welcome Trust (INVAR, 212925/Z/18/Z) and Open Targets (OTAR-044 and OTAR02-066).
