Genome3D annotations in InterPro

This tutorial provides a brief introduction to Genome3D annotations in InterPro. The new Genome3D annotations provide information on the likely structure of proteins (where a known structure is yet to be elucidated), and the predictions made can guide the design of protein constructs for structural studies. These Genome3D annotations, coupled with the annotation of conserved amino acids from InterPro, can aid deeper understanding of structure-function relationships (i.e. arrangement of active sites and binding sites, or hot spots of conservation).

Undergraduate-level knowledge of biology and knowledge of InterPro (InterPro: Quick tour) would be an advantage.
