Drug repurposing

John Overington, Director of Bioinformatics at Stratified Medical, and former group leader at EMBL-EBI, presents a talk on the repurposing of drugs for novel therapeutic applications. The talk explores how computational approaches can be used to examine the properties of existing pharmaceutical compounds and looks at their application in rare, orphan, and poorly researched diseases.

During the talk you will learn about how these drugs can be identified and new applications sought to speed up discovery and reduce development costs.

This webinar was recorded on 16th March 2016.
