Keynote session I: Next generation molecular tumor boards: systems biology and functional precision medicine

Trainers: Åsmund Flobak

Clinical oncology, computer science, and molecular biology are today united at the molecular tumor boards that provide clinical decision support to physicians and patients. I will present some learnings from the first two years of a nation-wide molecular tumor board in Norway, and how systems biology approaches to predict drug responses in digital twin systems and the use of patient-derived tumor cells to test drugs on patient cells directly enable next iterations of molecular tumor boards.

Keynote session II: Bias in research

Trainers: Davide Cirillo

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes more prevalent, concerns about biases in healthcare and other critical areas are gaining attention. It is crucial for researchers, developers, clinicians, citizens, and policymakers to work together to tackle biases in biomedical datasets and AI models, promoting fair healthcare outcomes, reducing discrimination, and ensuring responsible and ethical use of AI in biomedicine.
