(re)Designing your service: the design process, and understanding your users

Overview: In this interactive session, the group engaged in a paper-based exercise that where they explored how we all see and experience things in different ways and the hidden complexities in seemingly simple tasks. The group also sketched their services and annotated with insights. After this the group learned about the design process and use your annotated service sketch from part 1 to develop an empathy map that they could use to better understand their users of their services.

  • Practiced sketching as a UX design tool
