Nextstrain resource
Overview: Nextstrain is an online platform designed for easily visualize the molecular evolution of SARS-CoV-2 lineages. We will use the command line to manage and analyze coronavirus lineages from a specific country.
Learning objectives
By the end of this session you will:
- Know how to use the GISAID database to search and download SARS-CoV-2 genomes
- Run a custom Nextstrain build and learn how to interpret results from real cases.
- Understand the necessity of using data visualisation to explain better your genomic surveillance results
