Residues T138, R365, R380, R438, and Q570 form the ferric citrate binding site (red sticks) and are each located within 3.5 Å of the ferric citrate molecule (magenta CPK model). The SCA-derived network of the barrel and plug has been mapped onto the structure with the van der Waals surfaces associated with these residues colored blue.
