Introduction

Sequence Translation (ST) tools are used to translate nucleic acid sequence to the corresponding peptide sequences and vice versa.

  • We kindly ask all users of EMBL-EBI Web Services to submit tool jobs in batches of no more than 30 at a time and not to submit more until the results and processing is complete. RESTDescription

EMBOSS backtranambig

EMBOSS backtranambig reads a protein sequence and writes the nucleic acid sequence it could have come from

EMBOSS backtranseq

EMBOSS backtranseq reads a protein sequence and writes the nucleic acid sequence it is most likely to have come from.

EMBOSS sixpack

EMBOSS sixpack reads a DNA sequence and ouputs the three forward and (optionally) three reverse translations in a visual manner

EMBOSS transeq

EMBOSS transeq translates nucleic acid sequences to their corresponding peptide sequences.
