The user interface of the SBO browser has been updated in order to follow the new EBI theme and guidelines. This should make access and contribution to the ontology easier.

In addtion, an improved new version of the Web Services has been released (the old one is still available for backward compatibility) with a new Java library for convenient querying.

A new version of the Java library to access the Web Services has been released! This corrects a bug (two copies of each classes were stored in the jar).
2nd July

Improvement of the display of the mathematical expression associated with some terms. The area displaying the MathML can now be resized (from its right and bottom edges) with the mouse.

OWL export updated in order to prevent some issues while using with Protégé.

15th December

Major update of the content of the ontology: more than thirty terms added and a new branch created.

Several improvements of the SBO Browser: improved browsing and searching, history of each term and last changes made, exports updated, ...
3rd March

A curator, Nick Juty, has been hired to work on MIRIAM Resources and the Systems Biology Ontology, as part of the European project ELIXIR.
