Our meeting last night

Hello folks -

Helen, John and I met last night at Rutgers, and we came to some decisions
about ways in which to respond to many (but not all) of the comments and
suggestions that we have had from all of you (and I will say again how much
we appreciate you guys really looking at the dictionary - you are seeing
things we never would have spotted on our own).

We are now in the process of implementing the results of our discussions
last night.  John currently has the dictionary, and he is making a number of
those changes as well as fixing some technical problems he found in his own
testing.  When I get the dictionary back from him, I'll make the rest of the
changes.  You of course will all be the first to know when we are ready
to let go of this version - I hope this will be by the end of the week.

As I say, we didn't get to the bottom of the list (but one goes glassy-eyed
when one tries to do this stuff for too long) - we will meet again next
Wednesday and continue plugging away at it.
