Bringing Structure to Biology
Art Exhibition: Molecules of Life
The PDBe team is excited to invite you to view this year's PDBe Art exhibition called Molecules of Life, is open now in the Kendrew Foyer (South Building) and will be there until 27th September.
The PDBe database now contains 152 500 3D models of biological molecules important for health research. The PDBe Art project gives us a chance to visit local Cambridge schools and work with students to help them create artworks inspired by 3D protein structures available in PDBe. PDBe Art is a collaboration with the Art Society CANTAB and the Art Society Grants. This year, the collaboration resulted in over 200 artworks, many of which are displayed in the South Building over the following weeks.
We are also organising a special event on 17th September, between 14:30 and 15:30 (coffee time), where we will set up our virtual reality game for anyone to try! If you missed it at the 25th Anniversary, now is your chance to give it a go!
You can also collect your limited edition 2020 PDBe Calendar at the event, so don't miss out!
Do visit and also leave your feedback in our 'Virus box'.
