Keratitis due to infection by acanthamoeba; it is usually associated with soft contact lens wear, particularly overnight wear. [ NCIT:C50450 ]

A parasitic protozoa infectious disease that involves infection of the cornea of the eye with Acanthamoeba in people wearing contact lenses.
