"The cell line Ishikawa was established from an endometrial adenocarcinoma of a 39 year old woman. Cells can be commercially obtained from Sigma (99040201-1VL). However, it should be noted that the original source of these cells (M. Nashide, Japan) can spontaneously lose the progesterone and estrogen receptor.
