SSM results for all matches are downloaded in XML format upon pressing the corresponding download button. The XML file contains all data except aligned Ca sequences (these may be XML-downloaded from the individual match pages). The XML markup follows closely the notations found in SSM output pages.

The content of XML file may change with SSM version, however these changes include only addition of output data. Therefore parsing this file is version-safe (that is, your parser will always read correctly the XML output from a higher-version SSM).
