Small-molecule inhibitor: NAPAP
Name
- Common name
- NAPAP
Inhibition
- History
- NAPAP was described by Sturzebecher et al. (1983).
- Peptidases inhibited
- Thrombin (Nilsson et al., 1998). There is also inhibition of the platelet-aggregating venom peptidase (Serrano et al., 1995).
- Mechanism
- Inhibition is reversible. Ki values of about 6 nM have been reported for human and bovine trypsin (Sturzebecher et al., 1983).
