Family relationships

SERTA domain-containing protein 4 (SERTAD4) is highly expressed in adult murine epidermal tissues and in digits. The function of the SERTA domain is unknown, but proteins containing this domain have been linked to cell cycle progression and chromatin remodelling. SERTAD4 resides predominantly in the nucleus throughout all stages of the cell cycle [PMID: 16546331].
