Fails to cleave phosphorylated dinucleotides NADP(+), NADPH and NaADP(+). Also acts as an activator of ADP-ribosylation by supporting the catalytic activity of PARP16 and promoting mono-ADP-ribosylation of ribosomes by PARP16 (By similarity).
