The DarT-NADAR system is a TA system catalysing the specific and reversible ADP-ribosylation of guanosine bases in which DarT1-associated NADARs reverse guanine ADP-ribosylation catalysed by DarT1. DarT1-associated NADAR antitoxin adopts an alpha/beta globular structure characterised by an alpha-helical core that forms the active site flanked by two small beta sheet regions, comprising two and three strands [[cite:PUB00154386]]. Its structural core is globally similar to the structure of E.coli protein YbiA, a member of the NADAR domain family.</p>","llm":false,"checked":false,"updated":false}],"wikipedia":null,"literature":{"PUB00154386":{"PMID":37390817,"ISBN":null,"volume":"83","issue":"13","year":2023,"title":"Molecular basis for the reversible ADP-ribosylation of guanosine bases.","URL":null,"raw_pages":"2303-2315.e6","medline_journal":"Mol Cell","ISO_journal":"Mol Cell","authors":["Schuller M","Raggiaschi R","Mikolcevic P","Rack JGM","Ariza A","Zhang Y","Ledermann R","Tang C","Mikoc A","Ahel I."],"DOI_URL":"https://doi.org/10.1016/j.molcel.2023.06.013"}},"set_info":{"accession":"CL0787","name":"NADAR-like"},"overlaps_with":null,"counters":{"subfamilies":0,"domain_architectures":4,"interactions":0,"matches":250,"pathways":0,"proteins":250,"proteomes":244,"sets":1,"structural_models":{"alphafold":153},"structures":1,"taxa":629},"entry_annotations":{"hmm":0,"logo":0,"alignment:seed":51,"alignment:full":113},"cross_references":{},"is_llm":false,"is_reviewed_llm":false,"is_updated_llm":false,"representative_structure":null}}
