SusF is a starch-binding protein organised into three tandem domains packed against each other: N-terminal (this entry), middle, and C-terminal. The last two, represented by [pfam:PF16411], are common to SusE and SusF. This domain forms a beta-sandwich that is similar in overall-fold and topology to several immunoglobulin superfamily domains found in cell adhesion proteins [[cite:PUB00062486]].</p>","llm":false,"checked":false,"updated":false}],"wikipedia":null,"literature":{"PUB00062486":{"PMID":22910908,"ISBN":null,"volume":"287","issue":"41","year":2012,"title":"Multidomain Carbohydrate-binding Proteins Involved in Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron Starch Metabolism.","URL":null,"raw_pages":"34614-25","medline_journal":"J Biol Chem","ISO_journal":"J.
