RctB mediates oriCII-based replication and other regulatory processes. This protein is organised into four domains and adopts a dimeric configuration. This entry represents the two central domains, one consisting of a seven-stranded beta- sheet that forms the interface of the dimer by forming a swapped configuration with the same domain of the other monomer. It seems to be involved in DNA binding [[cite:PUB00091164]].</p>","llm":false,"checked":false,"updated":false}],"wikipedia":null,"literature":{"PUB00091164":{"PMID":28031373,"ISBN":null,"volume":"45","issue":"7","year":2017,"title":"The replication initiator of the cholera pathogen's second chromosome shows structural similarity to plasmid initiators.","URL":null,"raw_pages":"3724-3737","medline_journal":"Nucleic Acids Res","ISO_journal":"Nucleic Acids Res.","authors":["Orlova N","Gerding M","Ivashkiv O","Olinares PDB","Chait BT","Waldor MK","Jeruzalmi D."],"DOI_URL":"https://doi.org/10.1093/nar/gkw1288"}},"set_info":{"accession":"CL0123","name":"HTH"},"overlaps_with":null,"counters":{"subfamilies":0,"domain_architectures":2,"interactions":0,"matches":242,"pathways":0,"proteins":242,"proteomes":216,"sets":1,"structural_models":{"alphafold":165},"structures":2,"taxa":286},"entry_annotations":{"hmm":0,"logo":0,"alignment:seed":4,"alignment:full":67},"cross_references":{},"is_llm":false,"is_reviewed_llm":false,"is_updated_llm":false,"representative_structure":null}}
