Members of this family adopt a secondary structure consisting of six alpha helices, with four long helices (alpha1, alpha2, alpha5, alpha6) form a left-handed, antiparallel alpha helical bundle. The function of this family of Archaeal hypothetical proteins has not, as yet, been defined [[cite:PUB00035391]].
