Rv2632c contains a dsRBD-like (2 layers alpha/beta) fold (PDBe:2fgg). It shares remarkable similarity with bacterial hibernation factors, despite very low sequence similarity. Based on this structure it was predicted that Rv1738, highly up-regulated in conditions that mimic the onset of persistence, helps trigger dormancy by association with the bacterial ribosome [[cite:PUB00097447]].</p>","llm":false,"checked":false,"updated":false}],"wikipedia":null,"literature":{"PUB00097447":{"PMID":25831534,"ISBN":null,"volume":"112","issue":"14","year":2015,"title":"A functional role of Rv1738 in Mycobacterium tuberculosis persistence suggested by racemic protein crystallography.","URL":null,"raw_pages":"4310-5","medline_journal":"Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A","ISO_journal":"Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A","authors":["Bunker RD","Mandal K","Bashiri G","Chaston JJ","Pentelute BL","Lott JS","Kent SB","Baker EN."],"DOI_URL":null}},"set_info":null,"overlaps_with":null,"counters":{"subfamilies":0,"domain_architectures":7,"interactions":0,"matches":2482,"pathways":0,"proteins":2482,"proteomes":1537,"sets":0,"structural_models":{"alphafold":1265},"structures":3,"taxa":1847},"entry_annotations":{"hmm":0,"logo":0,"alignment:seed":31,"alignment:full":1131},"cross_references":{},"is_llm":false,"is_reviewed_llm":false,"is_updated_llm":false,"representative_structure":{"accession":"4wpy","name":"Racemic crystal structure of Rv1738 from Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Form-II)"}}}
