Comments:

Isolated from the aflatoxin-producing mold Aspergillus parasiticus. The enzyme also catalyses the conversion of versiconal to versicolorin B (EC 4.2.1.143, versicolorin B synthase). Involved in aflatoxin biosynthesis.
