IntEnz Enzyme Nomenclature

Accepted name:
tRNAAla(adenine37) deaminase
Other names:
Systematic name:
tRNAAla(adenine37) aminohydrolase

The enzyme deaminates adenosine37 to inosine in eukaryotic tRNAAla [1]. tRNA editing is strictly dependent on Mg2+ [2].
