A 30 kDa endopeptidase found intracellularly in Streptococcus thermophilus [1] and S. diacetilactis [2] and in the medium of S. faecalis [3, 4]. In peptidase family M4 (thermolysin family). Formerly included in EC 3.4.24.4.
