Comments:

Coenzyme F420 is a 7,8-didemethyl-8-hydroxy-5-deazariboflavin derivative; methanopterin is a pterin analogue. The enzyme is involved in the formation of methane from CO2 in Methanobacterium thermoautotrophicum. Formerly EC 1.5.99.9.
