Fellowships

We are happy to announce that we could award 62 travel fellowships to support students and researchers attending ECCB10.

The 9th European Conference on Computational Biology (ECCB10) will provide travel fellowships to help students and postdocs presenting a poster or paper to attend the conference.

Travel fellowships will pay for a partial contribution towards travel expenses, lodging, and conference registration. Affiliated expenses, such as evening meals, workshops, tutorials, and conference banquet will not be eligible for reimbursement.

Grantees will be communicated the source of support and must acknowledge it in their paper or poster.

The award will depend on your geographical location. The maximum amount that you will be reimbursed will be included in your award letter. Your registration fee will be reduced to 100 €. Graduate student grantees may be requested to volunteer up to half a day during the conference.

We intend to support as many applicants as possible. Unfortunately, because of limited funds, we can provide support only to a limited number of applicants. Applying for a fellowship does not guarantee that you will receive funding. If you require a fellowship to attend the conference, do not register until after you have been notified that you have received an award.
