7. Other relevant information about the website

The recordings of CINECA webinars and videos about CINECA success stories are available on the CINECA website as embedded YouTube videos. For embedding the YouTube videos, the expanded data protection mode was used, so that the videos are loaded from the domain youtube.nocookies.com instead of youtube.com. By this, no cookies are installed in your browser by YouTube to capture information about your user behaviour. However, with each visit of one of our sub pages containing an embedded video (even if the video is not played), your browser still communicates with YouTube and Google servers, which means that YouTube and Google gain knowledge of which sub page of our website was visited. If you are logged in to YouTube, YouTube recognizes with each visit of a sub page containing an embedded video (even if the video is not played), which specific page was visited, collects this information and assigns it to the respective YouTube account. Thus, YouTube and Google receive information that you have visited our website. If you do not want the transmission of this information you can prevent it by logging off from your YouTube account before visiting our website. Google’s Privacy Policy is available here.

The CINECA website also includes links to social media platforms such as Twitter. Please be aware that if you access to these platforms you will need to check their Provacy Policy such as https://twitter.com/en/privacy.

The CINECA website also contains a plugin to suscribe to the mailing list used to communicate news about the project. You will have access to the mailing list privacy notice before you submit your personal data.
