General Comment
2011-01-05 Propofol is a short-acting anaesthetic, administered intravenously for the induction and maintenance of general anaesthesia. It is also used for sedation in adults undergoing diagnostic procedures, or undergoing surgery in conjunction with local or regional anaesthesia. It has no analgesic activity.
