Trizol reagent (Invitrogen) was used for total RNA extraction according to the manufacturer's instructions. The RNA samples were eluted in H2O+DEPC and stored in a -80¼C freezer. The yield was quantified by Nanodrop ND-1000 Spectrophotometer (Uniscience) and the integrity of RNA samples was assessed by microfluidic electrophoresis using Agilent RNA Nano 6000 chips and an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer.
