Genetic variants in TCF7L2 are the most highly associated variants with type 2 diabetes.We performed RNA_seq experiments on Control and Knockdown samples for 4 passages each. Library preparation was performed according to mRNA Sequening Sample Preparation Guide (illumina). Reagents were taken from the Illumina sample preparation kit v.2. Knockdown and control samples were sequenced together in one flowcell, 6 samples per lane. The aim of this study is to identify the downstream target genes that might the involvement of TCF7L2 in the development of type 2 diabetes. No technical replicate, 4 biological replicates.
