This study aims to compare the DNA methylome across a large cohort of oral squamous cell carcinoma and matched normal samples. DNA from 44 OSCCs and paired normal mucosa were analysed using Illumina GoldenGate methylation array. This data was correlated with extracapsular spread (extracapsular spread), Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) status, recurrence and 5-year survival.
