E-MEXP-3530 - MicroRNA profiling by array of prostate after goserelin and bicalutamide treatments

Status
Released on 1 June 2012, last updated on 3 June 2014
Organism
Homo sapiens
Samples (28)
Array (1)
Protocols (6)
Description
30 patients were randomized equally into three groups: no treatment, bicalutamide (antiandrogen) 150 mg daily, and goserelin (GnRH agonist) 3.6 mg every 4 weeks. Following the neoadjuvant treatment for 12 weeks, patients underwent radical prostatectomy. Freshly frozen specimens were collected for expression profiling by human Agilent miRNA V2 microarray chips. Each array contained probe sets for 723 human miRNAs according to Sanger miRBase v 10.1
Experiment types
