A-MEXP-1897 - CVolz-TUKL-R6-MWG

Organism
Streptococcus pneumoniae
Description
The set of oligonucleotides from Streptococcus pneumoniae R6 includes 2018 gene-specific 50mer oligonucleotides. Additionally three specific oligonucleotides from Arabidopsis as negative controls are located at the chip(MWG Biotech AG). Because of high sequence homology 28 of 2046 annotated open reading frames from R6 are not used. The 2018 oligonucleotides are complemantary to the last 50 nucleotides at the 3'-end of the corresponding genes. The oligonucleotides have AminoC6-linkers at the 5'-end, which are used as reactive groups for covalent binding to the Epoxy-slides for creation of Microarray-slides. The oligonucleotides are located in 6 microtiter plates as 50 ?l solution in spotting buffer (1.5M betaine, 3xSSC, pH7), furthermore buffer controls. The plates are stored at 20?C.
