A-MARS-12 - ACBT Escherichia coli K-12 2x4.5k 2007
A themodynamically optimized ssDNA oligo probe library for all protein coding and structured ncRNA genes of Escherichia coli str. K-12 substr. MG1655 (GenBank Accession U00096.2, as of June 2007) was designed using TherMODO (Leparc et. al, Model-based probe set optimization for high-performance microarrays. Nucleic Acids Res. 2009 Feb;37(3):e18.). Genes that were less than 65 bp in length were removed from the design set; 179 genes with high similarity were grouped into 48 target groups. The array design consists of probes randomly distributed across the array in 2 replicates, dye markers for grid alignment as well as empty pin spots as negative control.
