Major Initiatives Team

The Major Initiatives team supports EMBL-EBI’s Directors to manage and execute large investment programmes and projects against strategic goals. The team works closely with external and internal stakeholders to gather insights, trends, risks and opportunities for EMBL leadership. The team works across EMBL-EBI Director support functions to contribute to stakeholder engagement activities, consultations and external reviews as required.

The MIT is also positioned to participate in project-related tasks and provide follow-up on wide Institute initiatives, as needed. The office will report on delivery activities, challenges and progress to the Senior Management Team (SMT) and other governance boards as required, facilitating alignment among project implementers and decision-makers to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
