Predoctoral Fellow - Stegle research group
My predoctoral work focuses on the assessment of the regulatory impact of rare variants on molecular traits, drawing on predictive sequence-based approaches and population-based studies. I am currently applying deep Convolutional Neural Networks and common motif detection algorithms to model the genetic component of histone variation in human monocytes. My goal is to interpret rare regulatory mutations, which will provide important insights into large genetic cohorts such as those made available through the UK Biobank.
