InterPro 98.0 released

InterPro version 98.0 and InterProScan 5.66-98.0 are now available. InterPro now features hundreds of new methods integrated from partner databases, and InterProScan draws on over 40000 entries.

InterPro version 98.0

New features include:

• The addition of 214 InterPro entries.
• An update to HAMAP (2023_05), PROSITE patterns (2023_05), PROSITE profiles (2023_05).
• Integration of 245 new methods from the CDD (61), HAMAP (1), NCBIfam (144), PANTHER (9), PROSITE profiles (23), Pfam (7) databases.

InterPro 98.0 covers 81.7% of UniProt Knowledgebase release 2024_01.
It predicts Gene Ontology (GO) terms for over 143 million UniProt proteins via the InterPro2GO pipeline.
