Overview

MetaboLights, in partnership with AIBIO-UK, will host a UK-led workshop on how public data can power AI in metabolomics.

Bringing together the metabolomics and AI communities, the workshop will showcase real-world use cases, examine barriers to data reuse, interoperability and AI adoption.

We aim to strengthen ties between the two communities, identify opportunities for public infrastructures, such as MetaboLights, and co-develop a white paper that defines future directions, community priorities and next steps.

Through a combination of inspiring keynote presentations and interactive working sessions, participants will share experiences, exchange ideas, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and explore how public data resources can enable AI-driven research.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is directed to metabolomics researchers involved in AI applications, AI researchers, engineers and software developers interested in scientific applications, bioinformaticians and computational biologists, and data scientists working with biological data.

We welcome both onsite and online participants with an interest in AI and metabolomics.

Registration is free but essential.
