Searchable Fields in UniProt

The search service in UniProt uses the standard Lucene query syntax and additionally the following fields are available to enable detailed searches

reviewed'yes' if reviewed (Swiss-Prot) or 'no' unreviewed (TrEmbl)
createdDate entry was created, date needs to be valid dd-MMM-yyyy
updatedDate the entry was last updated, date needs to be valid dd-MMM-yyyy
identifierField contains exact match for Iso Form id, accession, and id.
expiredAll expired(secondary) accessions.
idThe id of the entry.
acThe primary accession of the entry
peThe protein existence field
nameannotationContains all the annotation including protein name, gene name, organelle, primary and secondary accessions.
proteinnameContains all the protein name information as displayed in the flat file.
ecContains all EC number referenced in a protein name.
protein.frag_typeProtein name fragmentation can be fragment, fragments and or precursor.
geneIs an exact match field contain just the gene name
gene.nameGene name information
gene.annotationContains all the gene information including name, synonym, oln, and orf.
