Public events
EMBL-EBI runs public events as part of its Science and Society programme and the Cambridge Science Festival. In recent years, the Science and Society events have discussed biodiversity and endangered species (2011), the science of sporting success (2012), and how science helps us to understand addiction (2013).
Every year staff from the EBI enjoy meeting visitors of all ages at the Cambridge Science Festival during Science on Saturday and Science on Sunday. Visitors can take part in a wide variety of hands-on activities to learn more about DNA and genomes and find out how biological data is revolutionising research.
