Dominic Clark is the Industry Programme Manager at the EMBL-EBI in Cambridge and co-chair of the ELIXIR Industry Stakeholders committee. Dr. Clark’s role is to coordinate strategic meetings with industry partners, manage knowledge exchange workshops and
training and enable the initiation, funding and delivery of precompetitive projects which benefit industry stakeholders specifically and EMBL stakeholders in general. He has a PhD in Medical Informatics and a Diploma in IT project management. Prior to managing the EMBL-EBI Industry Programme, he was the ELIXIR project manager at EMBL-EBI. Prior to joining EMBL, he held various posts as a managing consultant at Sagentia Ltd, Vice President of Pharmagene Ltd (now Asterand), the UK Bioinformatics Manager at GlaxoWellcome (now GSK) and a Senior Research Fellow and EU Project Manager at the ICRF (now Cancer Research UK).
