Tandem affinity purification

Tandem affinity purification
Tandem affinity purification (TAP) allows rapid purification of complexes under their native conditions, even when they are expressed at their natural level. The TAP method requires the fusion of a multiple tag, either N- or C-terminally, to the target (or bait) protein of interest. The prey binding proteins are identifed either by mass spectrometry or western blot.
