The DGVa works closely with the Database of Genomic Variants (DGV), hosted by The Centre for Applied Genomics in Toronto, Canada and dbVar hosted by the National Center for Biotechnology Information in Washington DC, USA. These collaborations aim to improve community resources for the storage, distribution and analysis of genomic structural variation.
The European Molecular Biology Laboratory financially supports the DGVa service.
