The aim of this course is to provide a practical introduction to aspects of analysing Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data, including:
Knowledge of the various sequencing technologies, data formats and analysis workflows commonly used in NGS analysis workflowsHands-on experience with common analytical workflows for ChIP-seq, RNASeq data and De Novo genome assemblies.An overview of available tools and discussion of their limitations.
