An introduction to EMBL-EBI's data resources - Shanghai, China
This event will provide an overview of the mission of EMBL-European Bioinformatics institute, and introduce the data resources, services and research at the EBI. It will be delivered using a mixture of lectures, practical computer sessions and discussions based on case studies and EBI public domain data. The practical computer training session will focus on exploring functional genomics data resources at the EBI, including how to search, retrieve and interpret data from Ensembl, ArrayExpress and Gene Expression Atlas. Additionally there will be opportunity to review and discuss the key opportunities and challenges within this field.
Audience
This course is aimed at a general scientists audience working within the CNIBR including both wet-lab research scientists and bioinformaticians.
