Bioinformatics Workshop: Metabolomics Databases and Tools with the EBI - Cambridge, UK
An introduction to metabolomics and the analysis of experimental data. The workshop will cover open-source software, web-based tools, and metabolomics research databases.
Audience
The workshop is aimed at PhD, post-doctoral researchers and principle investigators working in wet-lab biology. It will be of use to participants who are looking for a basic introduction to metabolomics resources from the EBI and those after an introduction to basic analysis.
Learning Objectives
After this course you should be able to...
· Appreciate the range of analysis software and web tools available
· Conduct basic analysis of simple metabolomics datasets
· Understand how to use and submit to the MetaboLights repository
Make use of other relevant metabolomics data resources from the EBI
