The EBI stand will be manned by Katrina Pavelin and Frank O'Donnell. We will be next to ELIXIR (booth 7) and BioMedBridges (booth 8). There is a full EBI programme at the bottom of this page.

ELIXIR is a project that aims to construct and operate a sustainable infrastructure for biological information in Europe to support life science research and its translation to medicine and the environment, the bio-industries and society. The ELIXIR stand will be manned by Andrew Smith and Lindsey Crosswell.  

BioMedBridges is a joint effort of ten biomedical sciences research infrastructures that aims to develop the shared e-infrastructure—the technical bridges—to allow interoperability between data and services in the biological, medical, translational and clinical domains and thus strengthen biomedical resources in Europe. The BioMedBridges stand will be manned by Janneke van Denderen, Rinus Voorham and Tom Hancocks.

The annual international conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology (ISMB) is the major meeting of the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB). Over the past twenty years the ISMB conference has grown to become the world’s largest bioinformatics/computational biology conference.
