Abstract

|
Thymidine kinase from herpes simplex virus type 1 (ATP:thymidine
5'-phosphotransferase; EC 2.7.1.21) has been purified from an overexpression
system and crystallized against ammonium sulfate by using the hanging-drop
technique. The tetragonal crystals are of space group P4122 or P4322, and have
unit cell dimensions a = b = 84 A, c = 180 A.
