HTHquery is an application to detect if a protein structure has a DNA-binding HTH motif. The structure (assumed to be in a PDB format) can be directly uploaded or one can type in the PDB code if it has already been subitted.) Please note that the structure requires all heavy atoms and can only deal with single structures, so please do not submit NMR structures with more than one model. As an example, we choose here a transcription factor complex (PDB code 1d3u) as it has a DNA-binding domain with a HTH motif and another without a HTH motif.
